Andorra in the Eurovision Song Contest
Andorra has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest five times, debuting in 2004 (see ESC2004). Interest in the contest has been large for a long time, despite the local Andorran broadcaster not showing the contest until recent years (citizens could watch it on Spanish and French stations, though). The majority of the songs were sung in Catalan. Despite the homeland interest in the competition, Andorra has never qualified for the final. In 2007, a qualification for the final was predicted, but with a 12th place they just missed out.

In the past Andorra did hold a large reality show contest to select their entries. Since 2006 Andorran broadcaster RTVA has had a private selection process to select the Andorran Entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
