Andrew Sabiston

Andrew Sabiston (born 1965) is a Canadian actor and sometime librettist. He went to St. Michaels University School in Victoria, British Columbia, graduating in 1982, the same year as classmate Leslie Hope. Both had been cast in their final year in the Paul Almond movie, Ups & Downs, which was filmed at the school. A year later, he starred as Tom Edison on the Nelvana educational series The Edison Twins. After writing an ultimately unsuccessful big-budget musical script called Napoleon Napoleon with classmate Tim Williams, he shifted to animation voice-over work, including two series adapted from Nintendo games: Yoshi in the 1991 animated series Captain N and Super Mario World and Diddy Kong in the 1997 Donkey Kong Country series.

He was the voice of Polkaroo in Polka Dot Shorts and the voice of Cat in Little Bear. He voiced Tenderheart Bear in two Care Bears CGI amimated films: Journey to Joke-a-lot (2004) and Big Wish Movie (2005). He was also a voice actor for the television series What It's Like Being Alone (2006).
